Antique Inlaid Wood Jewelry Chest

This small Moorish marquetry box was part of the same heritage collection as my larger Spanish jewelry box — gifted by my mother in the 1980s. It is a masterfully handcrafted piece, made in the rich Moorish tradition of Spanish Islamic artistry.

The box features inlaid geometric wood patterns in shades of brown, beige, camel, cream, mocca, and ochre, forming a harmonious mosaic that radiates warmth and precision.

Its petite form makes it ideal for rings, small jewelry, or precious keepsakes. The box is lined inside with red cloth, adding a striking contrast to the natural wood tones.
