The idea of a book cover is as old as books themselves. They protect books, documents, agendas against smudges, insects, dirt and all other evils. 

These covers have many names: 

Planner cover / planner sleeve (most natural for a "book-style" planner)

Agenda cover or diary cover (British English uses "diary" for what Americans call a planner)

Book sleeve / book cover — great search terms, widely used on Etsy

Fabric book protector — good descriptive keyword

Book socks — if it's the elastic/stretchy type

We -at handmade Luxury Home- use the most simple books sleeves bags: made of left over -but very lovely- fabrics. Nonetheless, we like them to be lovely, these fabric book covers because we use them every day. 

I -Paula Kuitenbrouwer- asked by needle artist sister Marga van der Vet, to make a leaf- themed book sleeve for me with reddish colours. 'Simple, simple, simple', I asked. Within a few days I received this lovely sleeping bag for my Flow Agenda 26-27. 

I commissioned Marga because my agenda 25/26, -a much loved book- more precisely my external brain- started to look old and smudgy halfway the year. I do not mind that so much, but I am also not completely indifferent! If a simple sleeping bag will help my new agenda to look fresh for a full year, bravo!
