Returns Policy
At Handmade Luxury Home, each piece is created with care, intention, and a high level of craftsmanship. Because all items are handmade and, in most cases, one of a kind, our approach to returns differs from that of standard retail.
Returns are only possible by prior arrangement.
We kindly ask that you contact us first should you wish to discuss a return. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, with respect for both the customer and the nature of our work.
Why returns are limited
Unlike mass-produced goods, our textiles are individually designed and crafted. This means that:
- Each item is unique and cannot simply be restocked or resold in the same way.
- Considerable time, skill, and material go into every piece.
- The pricing reflects the creation of the item itself, not the logistical margin required to support standard return systems as seen in larger commercial operations.
For these reasons, a conventional “no-questions-asked” return policy is not feasible for a small, atelier-based shop such as ours.
When a return may be considered
We will, of course, review requests in situations such as:
- There has been a clear error in the order
In such cases, please contact us within a reasonable time-frame and include photographs where applicable.
