There is inter-religious symbolism in this double folded and professionally printed note card. The Camberwell butterflies shows are drawn in a realistic way. The art card strongly suggests that there is grief because the Camberwell butterflies, associated with mourning, hence their 'mourning cloak butterfly name', are at the heart of this card. But there will be new beginnings as well somewhere, somehow symbolized by the seedpods.

The butterflies also symbolize transformation; they lay eggs, the eggs become caterpillars and the caterpillar becomes a chrysalis. The chrysalis turns into a butterfly. Everything lives on, although in another form.

The composition alludes to transformation and rebirth, to earth and heaven. It shows hope, or functions as a mindful and artistic reminder of impermanence and transformation.

It is also a multi-religious condolence message in three languages open to your personal symbolic or religious interpretation.
