As a passionate seamstress and needle artist, there’s nothing more heartbreaking than seeing beautiful handmade quilts discarded on Vinted. Each one carries the love, time, and skill of the hands that created it—whether by a granny, an aunt, or another dedicated artisan.

That’s where I, Marga van der Vet, come in. I’m often asked to restore these treasures or give them a new home. With care and pride, I repair them—removing worn parts, adding matching elements, reinforcing their structure, and of course, giving them a thorough wash. Each restored quilt gets a second life, adding a new chapter to its story.
