Shapeshifting Animals: find all 6!

€ 4,00

Horse lovers will detect two horses. But there are four more animals are hidden in this drawing based on Celtic art.

Celtic art expresses shape-shifting with subtlety that continues to fascinate me.

We see faces in old trees and in random ink doodles. Celtic artists challenge us to a higher level of perception. What do we see? Wheels? Faces? Human or animal faces? Big eyes or heads of birds? Things appear in our consciousness and disappear again.

The reason Celtic art expressed shape-shifting also fascinates me. Bronze Age Celtic craftsmen lived in a world full of spirits: sacred landscapes, monuments, and perhaps even everyday tools. Ancestral and animal spirits dwelled everywhere.

We struggle to understand their world because we have dismissed spirits. Perhaps shape-shifting art was educational, a tool to learn to perceive another realm? Or to express that we can see different realms simultaneously?

This handmade card shows an illusion or fusion of two horses, two hares, and two swans. Inside the card, there is a full-color inlay.
This card will last beyond its use as it challenges the viewer to find six animals.

Suitable for adults, fun for children.
