We, Marga van der Vet and Paula Kuitenbrouwer, simply had to open an antique store—we love art, crafts, and antiques. "So, why sell them?" There are reasons: downsizing to a smaller home and a lack of enthusiasm among our offspring. We are completely at ease with both reasons because antiques never have just one owner. These objects travel from family to family. They survive because multiple owners cherish them for a time, only to pass them on to someone else who will continue to love them.

All our antique objects have been pre-owned and pre-loved, carefully curated and researched by antique sellers and by us. If we don’t know an item’s origin or function, we say so. We’ve consulted museums and experts to ensure accuracy. Our antique treasures are now yours to care for into the foreseeable future.
